Houston-area Subway® restaurants are showing their support for first responders who helped to rebuild the city in the days and months following Hurricane Harvey. In observance of the one-year anniversary of this devastating storm, participating Houston-area Subway restaurants will donate 5 cents from every Fresh Value Meal® sold, up to a total of $50,000 to the Assist the Officer Foundation and The Texas Association of First Responders, beginning Aug. 25 – Oct. 6, 2018.
“After Harvey hit, Subway® restaurants went above and beyond by bringing a refrigerated truck to downtown Houston, where it was stocked daily with subs for our first responders. They donated more than 70,000 subs around the city to those who worked throughout the day and night to keep our city safe,” said Tom Hayes, Vice President of the Houston Police Officers Union. “We’re delighted to see Subway once again supporting our local first responders with this special offer on all meals sold now through October 6.”
