I was born and raised in Long Island, NY, and graduated from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 2007 with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal justice and a minor in Forensic Psychology. Shortly after graduation, I entered the NYPD Police Academy, where I spent 7 and a half years, patrolling on foot, answering calls for service, and eventually entered the Narcotics division, where I fulfilled my lifelong dream and was promoted to Detective in April 2015. Within that time span, I married my amazing and supporting wife, Nancy, and we began to build our family with three children, Teagan, Brendan, and Ashlyn.

In June of 2015, in an effort to give my family a better future, I retired from the NYPD, and made the move to Houston to become a police officer with the HPD. It was a move that has blessed us and helped us in so many ways. I am currently working night shift at Northwest Division, and am looking to be the eyes and ears for all the current and future young officers within the Houston Police Department.
