First HPOU Family Movie Night a huge success

HPOU’s first-ever Family Movie Night on June 19 was a rousing success. Union President Joe Gamaldi was excited to advise all members to “keep your eyes peeled for the next family fun event that we’re promoting.”

HPOU’s board is vowed and determined to make sure that HPD officers and their families grow the family bonds of the Blue brotherhood and sisterhood with family-oriented events, especially the November family picnic, which also has been called a highly successful occasion.

“Our first Family Movie Night went really well,” Gamaldi said. “We had 300 people who had the opportunity to bond and promote the brotherhood of law enforcement by having the kids out for a free movie.”

“Men in Black International” was rated PG13 and shown at a Tomball theater.

The occasion emphasized family fun and quality time – phrases often repeated by HPOU leaders.
