    Members, The HPOU continually works to better our relationships at the State and National Levels.  This is one of the reasons that we are members of the State and National Fraternal Order of Police.  Through these efforts we were able to help get Joe Gamaldi elected to the Vice Presidents position of the National FOP

    THE NOVEMBER GENERAL ELECTION IS JUST AROUND the corner. It’s September but that crucial Nov. 8 Election Day is worth early preparation. This means knowing the HPOU PAC’s endorsements now as opposed to later.   • HPOU election sign-ups started

    Candidate sign-ups are now open for the 2022 Houston Police Officers’ Union election.  This election cycle includes 13 HPOU board positions and two of the Union’s vice-presidential positions.  Sign-ups will continue until 10 a.m. on Oct. 6. According to HPOU bylaws, a sample ballot will be posted Oct. 10, the same day electronic voting begins

    I have been the president for almost two years now and often hear people complain that the Union doesn’t fight for the membership.  One member even stated that we are not “militant” enough. We fight for our members daily, but I can understand why some would believe otherwise, because I fight most battles behind closed
